The label boss himself returns to Techgnosis with his signature heavy and hypnotic psytech in 'The 5th World'. The story of Ben Rama's original track is continued by 4 hand-picked remix artists in Ken Zo, Trilingo, Bass To Pain Converter and Zentrix, whose respective styles each represent a perfect cross-section of the Techgnosis Records' sonic spectrum. Cinematic and psychedelic in equal measure, 'The 5th World' expands upon the themes explored in 'The New Gods' and 'Liber Null' (Digital Structures, 2019).

The Remixes:

Having just made a spectacular appearance on our 5th annnual showcase, the Mauritian psytech maestro Ken Zo brings his unforgettable blend of groove and psychedelia to the remix table with his stellar, lower-BPM rendition. An instant classic, of course!

Also returning from the aforementioned 'Techgnosis Vol. 5' is the Berlin-based Trilingo, whose reputation for delivering the biggest, baddest slabs of minimal chunk-tech preceeds him - and we know this torpedo of a remix will end up in many a DJ crate.

We happily welcome back the supremely talented techno artist Bass To Pain Converter, as he delivered a truly top-shelf reworking that is deep and hypnotic while maintaining a powerful presence throughout. This one's both immediately compelling, and will reward you with repeat listens.

Last but certainly not least, we have the inimitable Zentrix who kicks things up a notch in the BPM department. The Montreal-based psytech wizard brings his unique set of skills to 'The 5th World' and the results speak for themselves - this one's front-loaded with hard-hitting tech rhythms and growling psychedelia!
